Supervice the operation and maintenance of power and handling equipment in accordance with approved industry standards, quality procedures, safety guidelines and within the scope of the technician’s qualifications and competencies to ensure integrity of the client’s wells.

QUALIFICATIONS:

BAC Qualification
PREFERRED
BEPC Qualification
Qualification covering Competence objectives of TRS Operations Level 2

SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE

• Excellent knowledge of Rig Equipment and Function
• Mechanical aptitude and basic understanding of Hydraulic and mechanical / electronic systems
• Excellent written and oral communication in English
• Computer literate and familiar with Microsoft Office software
• Fast learner, results oriented and independent with strong interpersonal skills
• Possess strong customer service skills, i.e. listening, follow-through, willingness to help
• Ability to adapt positively to changes in policies, procedures, priorities or work environments
• Passport Eligibility

PREFERRED

• Excellent communication skills
• Interpersonal skills

WORK EXPERIENCE
5-10 years work experience required


PREFERRED

• External Qualifications in Mechanical or Electronic Applications
• 5 Years minimum field proven experience in Rig Floor / Tubular Handling and Running Operations
