Purpose: To manage and lead testing for an IT infrastructure integration including a new software rollout project in West Africa.

 Reports To: Integration QA Lead

 Responsibilities:

 ·         Create the test plan for a software uplift and new functionality enhancements

·         Create the integration test plan for existing applications migrating to new infrastructure

·         Create software and infrastructure requirements matrix

·         Create a full UAT execution plan working with the business end users

·         Manage and run daily triage calls applying the defect management principles

·         Apply a risk based test approach in line with the test strategy

o  The test cases are documented to an appropriate level of detail;

o  The test cases mitigate all significant risks to business continuity;

·         Manage the execution of the test plan:

o  Liaising with the IT delivery team over the progress of dependencies/predecessors;

o  Managing the business testers to complete their tests;

o  Tracking and reporting progress

o  Managing the defects to appropriate resolution;

o  Producing metrics to report progress of actuals vs forecast

o  Escalating issues as appropriate

·         Work with test resources across programme to:

o  Ensure consistency of approach across other countries

o  Share lessons and learnings

o  Provide qualitative and quantitative input into programme reporting

o  Deliver documentation to support project audits and gateway checkpoint reviews

Profil du Candidat

·         Excellent written and spoken French and English

·         Can communicate well at all levels but specifically with the business testers in locale

·         Comfortable working remotely with global infrastructure and management

·         Comfortable to travel throughout West Africa

·         Is able to manage other people, specifically the business testers

·         Experienced at functional and non-functional testing in software and infrastructure

·         Experienced in dealing with all types of testing against the context of a changing IT infrastructure;

·         Competent user of Microsoft office applications

·         Competent planner – can plan in detail, organise others and track progress against articulated plan

·         Must be a self-starter with confidence to make rapid progress in a busy environment.

·          West Africa – Multiple locations

·       Role commences early November

·       Duration approx. 9 months (CDD)
