Announcement for the recruitment of an Accountant F/H
Location: Abidjan, Côte d'Ivoire
Type of contract: CDI
Salary range: [350,000 - 450,000] FCFA net monthly depending on profile
Industry sector: Entertainment/ Rental & sale of sports equipment.
Main mission:
You are responsible for the complete maintenance of the agency’s accounting, the analysis of accounts and the reliability of financial information, in order to facilitate decision-making by the Branch Manager and Top Management.
Tasks:
1. Management of the cash book
• Write and record entries for all receipt receipts
• Reconcile the cash book daily with bank statements
• Process approved supplier payments
• Ensure a rigorous filing of accounting documents
2. Follow-up Accounts receivable
• Follow the recovery of unpaid debtors
• Maintain an accurate and up-to-date filing system
3. Accounts payable
• Prepare the checks and electronic payments
• Track unpaid invoices and statements from suppliers
4. General ledger
• Keep the ledger entries up to date and publish them on time
• Prepare the reconciliations of the balances of the trial balance
• Prepare the monthly financial reports
5. Internal management system (Allied software)
• Record daily operations (setting up game tables, spare parts, cash receipts) in collaboration with the operators
6. Stock control
• Conduct the monthly inventory of spare parts
• Reconcile the stock values between the Allied system and the accounting system
7. HR and payroll management
• Assist the Branch Manager in HR administrative procedures
• Process and administer monthly payroll, track staff movements (absences, leave, sick)
• Reconcile the payroll monthly with the accounting system
8. General administration & declarations
• Ensure the maintenance of administrative files
• Manage the petty cash
• Perform various administrative tasks
• Submit the monthly tax and social declarations
• Manage relationships with banks, suppliers, accountants and external auditors
